Bloor Homes commits to MukAway in Group-Wide Deal

MukAway has secured another major industry win, with Bloor Homes committing to the platform under a group-wide agreement bringing its national network of residential developments into the MukAway ecosystem.
The deal, a solus Group platform and collaboration agreement for 3 years, marks a further shift in how leading housebuilders are approaching materials, waste and cost control as they move away from traditional, fragmented processes and towards a connected, digital-first model through MukAway.
By onboarding at group level, Bloor Homes is not trialing the platform it is adopting it with the MukAway team embedding themselves in their business to ensure a comprehensive take up and transactions from site to site.
MukAway enables the movement and reuse of materials between live construction sites, cutting landfill exposure, reducing imported materials and unlocking immediate commercial efficiencies.
Similarly, MukAway’s new merchant functionality enables contractors to source aggregates, manage non-reusable (including hazardous) materials, and sell products directly through one platform.
Combined with integrated haulage pricing, it delivers a fully commercial, end-to-end material management solution
And at scale, those efficiencies are significant.
This moves MukAway beyond material exchange into a fully integrated commercial tool for the construction supply chain.
Fraser Linaker, CEO of MukAway, said: “Bloor Homes committing at group level is exactly where this market is heading. The industry is under pressure with rising costs, landfill tax increases, sustainability targets, and the old way of managing materials simply doesn’t stand up anymore.
“What we’re seeing now is a shift from interest to meaningful action. Businesses aren’t asking if this works, they’re implementing it and benefitting directly from the gains, both commercially and from an ESG standpoint.
“MukAway is building a network that becomes more valuable every time a major contractor or housebuilder joins. Bloor Homes strengthens that network significantly, and the timing with merchant functionality about to launch means they’ll seize the advantage immediately.”
Matthew Williams, Commercial Director at Bloor Homes, said: “We are continually looking at ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste across our developments. MukAway offers a practical, scalable solution that supports both our operational and sustainability objectives.
“The ability to manage materials across multiple sites through a single platform is a clear step forward, and we are looking forward to seeing the impact this delivers across our business.”
MukAway’s growth reflects a wider shift across the sector, as construction businesses look for smarter, more commercial ways to manage materials in an increasingly cost-sensitive environment.
With a rapidly expanding network and further major partnerships in the pipeline, MukAway is quickly establishing itself as a key platform in the modern construction supply chain.
